Orientation Sessions September 4 (Tuesday) 9.00am-12.00pm or 2.00pm-5.00pm (see your session assignment above) Social Sciences Building

All new international students are required to participate in Orientation sessions, during which we will guide you through registration process, course selection, Visa matters, housing, and other practical tips on campus life. All new students are strongly encouraged to attend. There will be two sessions held, with the morning session from 9.00am to 12.00pm and the afternoon session from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Room assignment: morning room 101 for degree students, exchange/visiting students (exclude entry permit holders); afternoon room 101 for all entry permit holders.

Degree Student Registration September 5, 7 (Wednesday, Friday) 9.30am-12.00pm / 1.30-4.30pm B1F Core Subjects Classroom Building OIA will hold a session for the registration of all international students. After completing the registration procedures, you will receive your student ID card. University-level Exchange/Visiting Student Registration September 6 (Thursday) Please refer to notification email. 4th Conference Room, Second Administration Building

OIA will hold a session for the registration of all university-level exchange and visiting students. After completing the registration procedures, you will receive your student ID card.

Mainland China students who enter Taiwan with an Entry Permit should pay the permit fee of TWD1,000 in cash at registration.

General Chinese courses - Registration & Placement Test

September 9 (Sunday)   Common Core Subjects Building

Those who have never taken Chinese may be opt-out of the placement test. However you are still required to come for registration. Your absence on that day will be considered as cancellation of enrollment, so it is imperative that you arrive on time. The placement test may take about one to one and a half hour after registration.

Students must bring: (1) Your Student ID Card or Admission Letter (2) A Pen.
