- Language of instruction:
Coursework: An excellent knowledge of French is generally required for candidates interested in following coursework. Courses in English language, when available, are indicated on the departments’ websites.
Research training: A basic knowledge of French may be sufficient for candidates proposing scientific research projects. Good knowledge of English required.
- Organization of studies:
L3 = Final year of « Licence » = equivalent of 3rd university year
M1 = 1st year of Master, equivalent of 4th university year
M2 = 2nd year of Master, equivalent of 5th university year
PhD = 3 years duration
- Credits and notation:
1 academic year = 60 credits ECTS
1 ECTS credit = about 10 teaching hours (personal work not included )

- ENS Paris-Saclay is Moving in 2020 in the Plateau de Saclay in a new building at Gif-sur-Yvette (30kms from Paris) close to the other institutions of Université Paris-Saclay.
