Visiting Student Program is designed for outstanding current students of overseas/partner institutions who wish to broaden their horizons while earning credits at NTU, one of the world's leading institutions of higher education. While enrolled as a non-degree-seeking but full-time student, you are permitted to gain access to and take advantage of NTU's fullest range of academic programs. The duration of studies ranges from one semester to one academic year.

According to NTU regulation, visiting students must take at least 2 courses or 4 credits per semester. Furthermore, students should also follow the requirements of their home universities.
The course information for 2018 Fall/2019 Spring semester is available in August/January. Before course information is announced, you may still refer to the Online Course Information website to search for courses offered in the past few years for your reference. For questions regarding a specific field/course, please contact the relevant department or the course instructor directly.
- Practice and Internship (實習課) courses in the College of Medicine are not open to visiting students. Consequently, the College of Medicine does not accept senior and graduate exchange/visiting students.
- The Department of Anthropology is only open to students who are proficient in Chinese. The Department of Anthropology only offers courses in Chinese.
- Some GMBA courses are not open to visiting students.
- Some departments and graduate institutes in the College of Medicine are not open to visiting students. Please consult with the NTU visiting coordinator first before applying online.

|The application fee is a non-refundable, one-time payment that must be paid by wire transfer before application deadline.||This administrative fee is paid by all students in the Visiting Student Program to cover expenses related to this self-funded program. This fee is charged per semester; for students enrolling for their first semester, the fee is paid by wire transfer to confirm the acceptance to the offer of admission. The payment deadline is Registration Day.||The Tuition Fee (international-degree-student rate) is collected by the University to make NTU's high-quality education accessible to visiting students. This fee is charged per semester and is paid in cash to the University Cashier, a convenience store or a post office by the Registration Day. An additional TWD 400 NTU Wireless Network will be applied to the tuition bill.|
All visiting students must document their ability to meet all educational and living expenses at NTU, as the University does not offer financial supports to visiting students. If you will be attending NTU on a scholarship, you may provide relevant documents as a proof of financial statement.
Students who are interested in conducting research and/or internship projects under supervision of a faculty member of NTU, and do not intend to enroll in any course, may consider applying to Research Visiting Program as an alternative.
