Academic Calendar

Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.

Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

1. Exchange students are entitled to one class of Polish language, to one class of foreign language class and one sports class free of charge in addition to courses offered by their receiving unit (within the limit of 30 ECTS/semester).
2. Each student is required to have a health insurance valid for the whole duration of his/her stay at the University of Warsaw. Students will be asked to show a proof of their insurance upon arrival. It is recommended to have a confirmation of the insurance in English or Polish.

A limited number of places available at dormitories for exchange students. The majority of places are in double rooms with a shared bathroom and kitchen.

Students apply for accommodation in the online application form. The places are assigned on a "first come first served" basis; therefore, it is important to apply as early as possible. Students who do not receive a place in a dormitory are offered assistance in finding a room or apartment to rent. For mor information, please check this website.
