National Taiwan University is a highly engaged member of the following international associations:
NTU attends annual general meeting every year and sends delegations to symposia and workshops.
As the only network of leading universities linking the Americas, Asia and Australasia, the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) is the Voice of Knowledge and Innovation for the Asia-Pacific region. We bring together thought leaders, researchers, and policy-makers to exchange ideas and collaborate on effective solutions to the challenges of the 21st Century.”
NTU attends governance meetings every year and is the core member of various topic-specific groups and the host of Annual Presidents Meeting 2018.
NTU attends general conference regularly and hosted the General Conference in 18-20 May, 2016.
NTU is one of the steering committee members 2015/2016.
International Education Conferences
National Taiwan University attends the conferences hosted by these major international education associations every year:
- Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA)
- The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE)
NTU was the host for the 6th annual conference of APAIE in 2011 themed "Asia Pacific Education : Impacting the World". There were about 912 delegates representing 405 institutes from 44 countries participated in this conference, a record high in participation and a complete sell out of available booths.
