  1. At least Second-year Undergraduate student/First-year master’s student/First-year doctoral student. According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
  2. TOEFL iBT 79 (Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.5 or The General English Proficiency Test (High-Intermediate) or The BEST Test of English Proficiency B2 (Vantage).

Quota
1 student for 1 academic year.
(Admitted students are limited to depart in the 1st semester of NTU, for their exchange of one semester or one academic year.)
Academic Calendar
Winter term: lecture period from mid-October to beginning of February
Summer term: lecture period from mid-April to mid-July
Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.

  5. As part of the Global Exchange Programme, "Go explore - Study abroad in Göttingen" offers a course programme for non-German-speaking international exchange students. In addition to courses on key topics such as sustainability, data science and inequality/diversity, a compulsory course on "Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in Germany" and German courses, students can choose from a wide range of English-language courses. The programme is designed for one semester and requires English language skills at B2 level.
Practical Information
  1. The University of Göttingen does not charge tuition fees. However, all students are obliged to pay a semester fee. The semester fee comprises administration fees, student body fees, a Studentenwerk fe,e and a Germany-wide semester ticket for public transport.
