Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.

Academic Information
- The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

- NOT open to exchange students: Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Architecture are NOT open to study for incoming study abroad students.
- Students must come to Leeds for the full year (Semester 1 & 2) to study these subjects: Chemical and Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
- Studio Fine Art modules are taught in Semester 1 and the full year (Semester 1 & 2). There are no Semester 2 studio Fine Art modules. Portfolio submissions are required to study studio Fine Art modules.
- To study School of Design modules, students must major in Design in their degree with their home university and submit aportfolio for review. The School of Design teach the majority of their modules across the full academic year (semester 1 and 2).
- To study Media and Communications/Psychology modules, priority will be given to students who major in Media and Communications/Psychology in their home degree.

- The University of Leeds does not have an insurance policy for students to buy. Students should make their own insurance arrangements prior to travelling to the UK. Information regarding healthcare entitlement in the UK can be found here
- Visa and immigration
- If students do not meet our direct entry language requirements, they can take a pre-sessional Academic English course directly before the start of semester 1 and semester 2 with our Language Centre. These courses are not usually included in exchange programme tuition fee waiver arrangements.
Accommodation Information
Housing is guaranteed if students apply for it before the deadlines (1 July for S1, 1 December for S2). Housing can be on or off campus.
