Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.

5. Students need to select appropriate options for full-time academic enrolment: 120 UCU (60 ECTS) per academic year or 60 UCU (30 ECTS) per single semester. This is both an academic and visa requirement.

Travel and Health Insurance: Full year students with a Student visa will pay an Immigration Health Surcharge as part of their visa application which provides access to some of the National Health Service (NHS). Students studying at UEA for less than 6 months will need to purchase adequate health cover.
