TUM Global Week 2024: Join us from May 13 to 17!
Please refer to the programs on the TUM Global Week website for the times of the individual events and opportunities to register.

We would like to draw your particular attention to the following events:
  • Going to TUM on exchange. (Tue, May 14, 2024. 1.30 p.m. – 3.00 p.m. [CEST]). This event is aimed at partner universities and directly at students interested in staying abroad at TUM. We will introduce you to the requirements and opportunities for a stay abroad at TUM and in Munich and show you why both destinations are so attractive for a stay abroad.
  • Fit for studying in Germany – An intercultural workshop. (Thu, May 16, 2024. 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. [CEST]). Does studying at a German university in Munich differ from studying back home? How do some communication style differences between professors, students, and advisors reflect general German cultural standards and values? In this taster workshop, you deepen your knowledge about Germany and the Germans and also self-reflect on how cultures have shaped and influenced your life. You learn strategies to master intercultural challenges competently and learn about tools to deal with culture shock or "culture blues," helping you make the most out of your time here at TUM.
