須在本校註冊並繳交全額學雜費，免繳該校學費，但該校雜費、住宿費、生活費、保險費、往返機票費等均須自行負擔。

1. 因應姊妹校申請時程，校內甄選不開放第二次志願選填。

2. 交換學校一覽表所列之語言能力等規定為該校之最低門檻，同學需自行確認最新資訊，如語言能力及成績是否符合該校/該系所要求、查詢是否有足夠的課程可供選讀、能否達到該校之每學期修課學分數要求、以及是否具備相關領域之背景知識等，若未達標準，該校有權拒收。本表所提供之資訊如有與交換學校／國家／地區最新公告不符之處，申請學生應以交換學校／國家／地區之最新公告為準。經甄選錄取獲得本校推薦資格之交換生，不得於取得該校入學許可後，要求變更已取得的入學許可條件；或者是交換申請被該校拒絕後，要求以另一種條件重新提出申請。如有以上情事者，將直接取消其錄取資格。
   
   經甄選錄取獲得本校推薦資格之交換生，須依照所錄取之語言要求（JLPT、IELTS或TOEFL iBT），來遞交姊妹校之交換入學申請文件。例如：以JLPT語言條件取得交換資格者，須申請該校之一般交換學生計畫（意即以日語授課之課程）；以IELTS或TOEFL iBT語言條件取得交換資格者，須申請該校之英語課程交換學生計畫（通常是國際學部專門開設給international students的英語授課課程）。以上兩種不同語言要求的交換生名額係為分開計算，不同語言條件之交換入學申請，係由該校不同的委員會審查。

     Japanese Language and Culture Course(JLCC) / Schools and Graduates School 
     * JLCCコース期間：10月1日〜翌年8月31日。限秋季入學，交換一學年。

   • 一般組：
     Japan in Today‘s World (JTW) / Schools and Graduates School

8. Master's or PhD students are NOT allowed to take undergraduate courses/subjects/units.

9. Exchange students must select courses to meet 14 credits or more each semester under Japanese Immigration Law. (More than 20 credits are not recommended.)

10. Courses NOT Open to Exchange Students: Practical courses such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental Sciences are not open to exchange students. Courses offered by Kyushu University Business School (QBS) are open only to exchange students who are enrolled in QBS.

MEXT Scholarship (Japanese Government Scholarship) *Only JLCC applicants are eligible to apply.
 

National Health Insurance: All foreign nationals with a residence permit for a period exceeding 3 months who are students or who are not covered by an employer's social security plan (mutual aid, health insurance) are required to join National Health Insurance. 

Emergency Security Plan (ESP): Emergency Security Plan, which international students enrolled at Kyushu University are required to join, will provide assistance with various medical services. Please note, however, that ESP is not a health insurance, and does not substitute for or replace the National Health Insurance which international students enrolled with a residence card are also required to join.

Housing and utilities: 15,000 - 50,000 yen
Food: 30,000 yen (lunch at the school cafeteria runs about 400 yen, and students typically prepare their own breakfast and dinner at dormitories)
Local transportation: 10,000 yen (individual spending habits may vary)
Books and supplies: 5,000 yen (instructors typically provide reading materials in class)
Health insurance: 2,000 yen
