Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
- The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.
- The school only offers NTU exchange students to the Faculty of Arts and Science. Please check if your department is affiliated with the college on the school's website before applying for the exchange program.

- Arts and Science courses are open to exchange students provided that they have the appropriate prerequisite courses. Please note that availability may be limited in some departments. Students may have the option to take courses from another Faculty; however, the majority of courses must be in the Faculty of Arts and Science.
- As of 2026/2027AY, the following subjects are not available to incoming exchange students. The restrictions may apply to the entire subject or bot available for incoming exchange students (may apply to the entire subject or only the specific course):
- History (at the 300-level and above)
- Kinesiology and Health Studies (all levels)
- Political Studies (at the 300-level and above)
- Sociology (all levels)
- These subjects are highly demanded at Queen’s, therefore courses have limited spaces:
- Biology
- Computing and Information Science
- Economics
- English and Creative Writing
- Film and Media
- Life Sciences (Microbiology, Neuroscience, Physiology)
- Psychology
- Students are not permitted to enroll in courses offered by the Faculty of Law. It is also challenging to secure courses in politics, computing science, drama and music, economics, and life science. Students may receive some courses but should not expect to take the bulk of courses in these disciplines.
- Minimum academic workload per semester: 3 courses or 9 units of study

- All incoming exchange students are required to purchase the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) prior to course registration.
