Application requirement
Korean Category
  1. Second-year Undergraduate student/Third-year Undergraduate student/Second-year master’s student (excluding doctoral students). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
  2. GPA should be higher than 2.70.
  3. TOEFL iBT 79 (Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.0.

  4. Korean (TOPIK) at least 4 level, 若總成績相同且按志願序分發皆至該校者，錄取資格以具韓語能力證明者優先.

1 student for 1 semester.

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information

  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.
    If any information provided in this table conflicts with the latest announcements from the exchange university, country, or region, applicants should follow the most recent official announcements from the respective university, country, or region.
    Exchange students who are selected and recommended by NTU are not allowed, after receiving admission approval from the host university, to request changes to the granted admission conditions, nor may they, if their exchange application is rejected by the host university, request to reapply under different conditions. Any such actions will result in immediate cancellation of their admission eligibility.

  4. Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Teacher Education, Division of Information Security, Art & Design, graduate level Business courses (graduate courses that start with BUS, INT) and all courses at Sejong Campus are not open to exchange students.

  5. Please be aware that registering for courses from Business School, Media & Communications, and International Studies (courses that start with BUSS, JMCO, DISS) is extremely competitive. Our office cannot guarantee any specific courses for exchange students and we ask students to be very flexible with their course selections.

  6. Academic workload:
    ．Undergraduates: Max.19 credits per semester
    ．Postgraduates: Max.12 credits per semester

  7. Cost of Living: around KRW 1,000,000~1,200,000 ($850~1020) per month

Health Insurance：All the international students are required to have their private insurance that covers their whole stay in Korea prior to beginning their studies at KU.
