Academic Calendar

SEMESTER 1 (Fall semester)

  • Duration: from September to December / January
  • Exam period: mid-December / early January
  • Expected arrival: late August / early September

SEMESTER 2 (Spring semester)

  • Duration: from January to June
  • Exam period: late April / May
  • Expected arrival: late December / early January
Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.
  2. The vast majority of courses at this university are taught in French, with only a few master's courses offered in English. Applicants with only English proficiency must still have A2-level French (official language test results or a recommendation letter from a teacher)

Students can either ask for a room in an on-campus residence (CROUS) or in a French host family through their online application form. Please be mindful of the fact that the number of rooms is limited.

Cost estimation:
Room in a residence: 1088€ (Fall semester) / 1630€ (Spring semester)
Room in a host family (including breakfasts and dinners in the workweek, and all meals during the weekend): 2000€ to 2600€ (Fall semester) / 3000€ to 3900€ (Spring semester)
