- At least First-year Undergraduate student (undergraduate students only). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
- GPA should be higher than 3.00.
- TOEFL iBT 79 (Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.0.

Exchange students who are selected and recommended by NTU are not allowed, after receiving admission approval from the host university, to request changes to the granted admission conditions, nor may they, if their exchange application is rejected by the host university, request to reapply under different conditions. Any such actions will result in immediate cancellation of their admission eligibility.

Due to the academic focus of the host university’s courses, it is particularly recommended that students from the College of Liberal Arts, College of Social Sciences, or College of Management apply.

- No specific course restrictions are applied but students are advised to check pre-requisite(s) of individual subjects. Exchange students can select modules from different programmes as far as the timetable allows.

Exchange students are required to complete 12 credit-units (or 4 modules) min. to 18 credit-units (or 6 modules) max.

Most of the courses are taught in English.

Compulsory Insurance Plan: Students are required to purchase insurance and submit proof of insurance coverage prior to arrival. The insurance must cover travel, personal accidents, medical expenses (accident and non- accident), hospitalization and emergency evacuation/repatriation.
- Estimated Cost of Living: Accommodation: ranges from HK$1,900 to HK$2,300 per month, depend on the choice of the roomMeals: around HK$4,000 per month Personal Expenses: around HK$2,000 per month ( Actual expenses depend on your personal spending habit. )
- All inbound exchange students are required to attend an Orientation which usually takes place a week prior to the commencement of the semester.
