Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.
  2. Only certain master’s programs at this university offer courses in English. Students with only English proficiency must independently verify that they have the relevant academic background and that there are sufficient courses available for enrollment

  2. Preparatory German course: Before the semester begins, you will have the opportunity to participate in an intensive German course. Language courses are conducted by the TUDIAS language school. You can find information about course offers, dates, times, and fees on the homepage of TUDIAS.

  4. Cost of Living per Month (in EUR): Approx. 850 EUR
  5. Additional fees: Semester fee, approx. 300 EUR per semester. All regularly enrolled students must pay a nominal "student payment" that covers the Studentenwerk, the Studentenschaft, and the so-called "Semester Ticket" (this semester ticket serves as transportation pass for busses, trains, trams, S-Bahn/Metro, and rental bike service in and around the greater Dresden area and as Deutschlandticket, i.e. for all basic public transport in Germany).
Accommodation Information
Not guaranteed, but students can apply for housing. Please note that it is not TU Dresden offering accommodation but the Studentenwerk.
