Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

  3. The course catalogues are updated in September. Students may prepare their choice of courses based on the current year's catalogue, published on the website.
  4. The number of humanities courses taught in English is very limited.
  5. The École normale supérieure - PSL is a selective and demanding institution. A very high standard is required of students. They must feel at ease with the teachers, other students, and their discipline.
  6. Exchange students who are not eligible for the European Health Card (EIHC) and who are not covered by national health plans must have private health insurance.
French Language Courses
ECLA (ENS-PSL Languages Center) offers an intensive French course to international students during the first two weeks of September. The course is free of charge, for all levels (A1 to C2) and includes cultural outings.

A similar course in a shorter format (3 days) is offered in mid-January for students studying abroad during the Spring Semester.

Exchange students may also attend French courses throughout the semester/year and validate ECTS credits.
