Not available to students in the College of Medicine, Department of Veterinary Medicine, College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture, Graduate Institute of Veterinary Medicine, College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture, Department of Psychology, College of Science, Graduate Institute of Psychology, College of Science, College of Public Health.

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available

  3. Academic workload: 24 USYD credit points (approx. 4 units of study) is the standard academic workload
  4. Course restrictions
    • Not open to medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and psychology students.
    • No Veterinary Science, and clinical placements available in any discipline at any level.
  5. Undergraduate
    • Students must submit a list of initial unit of study requests at the time of application.
    • USYD reserves the right to require additional documents or information based on the student's unique situation, such as a portfolio for architecture or art studio units or an audition video for performance-based music units, and etc.
  6. Postgraduate
    • The application process is the same for postgraduate coursework students, but evidence of their undergraduate completion (English undergrad transcript and bachelor's degree certificate) is needed.
  7. Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
    • Exchange students are required to purchase a compulsory OSHC plan
    • Health insurance is compulsory for most international students who are studying in  Australia. It is a condition of your student visa that you maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of your studies in Australia. This cover needs to be arranged before you can apply for your student visa.
