- At least Second-year master’s student (excluding doctoral students). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
- GPA should be higher than 3.00.
- TOEFL iBT 88 (Accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.0. or
- Korean (TOPIK) at least 5 level.

SNU Language Education Institute (LEI) offers credit-bearing Korean Language Programs (KLP) on a fee-paying, extracurricular basis. For exchange students taking KLP, SNU OIA will provide financial support to encourage international students to learn Korean language and culture.
