   Exchange students who are selected and recommended by NTU are not allowed, after receiving admission approval from the host university, to request changes to the granted admission conditions, nor may they, if their exchange application is rejected by the host university, request to reapply under different conditions. 4. The Xi'an Jiaotong University exchange program does not accept applications from graduating or delayed-graduation students for the spring semester.

8. Exchange students are required to enroll in at least 9 credits or 4 courses each semester, with at least 2 courses being major-specific courses offered by their faculty.

9. Exchange students must select courses based on the course catalog for each major provided by the Xi'an Jiaotong University Academic Affairs Office. Students requiring credits must complete examinations (or assessments) according to the requirements of the selected courses.
