Application requirement
General Category
- At least First-year Undergraduate student/First-year master’s student/First-year doctoral student. According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
- GPA should be higher than 3.00.
- TOEFL iBT 80 (Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.0 or The General English Proficiency Test (High-Intermediate), 同時需具中高級以上蒙古語能力,Mongolian language(TOMFL) - intermediate level and higher.

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
- The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

- Most courses at the university are taught in Mongolian, so a solid foundation in Mongolian is required; only some graduate-level courses are offered in English. If students take lectures and courses in the Mongolian language (please note that the majority of the lectures and courses are conducted in the Mongolian language), we recommend that students have enough Mongolian language skills to understand lectures and courses in the Mongolian language.
- Be sure to overcome cold winter and dry and windy spring. It is smoggy in winter in the city.
