  1. At least First-year Undergraduate student (undergraduate students only). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
  2. TOEFL iBT 93 (Reading 22 Writing 22 Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 7.0 (Reading 7.0 Writing 6.5) or The General English Proficiency Test (High-Intermediate).

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
 
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

  5. Workload: 2.0 to 4.0 SMU credits per semester
  6. It is compulsory for all exchange students to purchase the SMU Medical Insurance, which provides coverage within Singapore only. The insurance cost is included as part of the miscellaneous fee* (~S$250 per term). For personal travel or leisure trips overseas, students are strongly advised to purchase additional travel insurance, at their own discretion.
