Please note that the university has indicated that, due to the inability to assess the impact of future pandemics, the exchange program may be canceled at short notice even if a quota is allocated to our university.
In addition, the travel advisory for Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau has been raised to Orange. Students planning to choose this university for exchange should take this into consideration. -
The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

Applicants for the exchange program must have strong academic performance. Students with failing courses or poor grades in their major courses will not be admitted.

Students majoring in Economics may only apply to the School of Economics at the university and are not permitted to apply to Guanghua School of Management.

The School of Medicine does not accept exchange students.

Undergraduate students must enroll in at least four courses per semester. Courses can be taken across different faculties, but major courses must be selected during the cross-faculty course selection period.
Graduate students must enroll in courses totaling at least 4 credits or take a minimum of two courses per semester. -
At the end of the semester, exchange students are required to submit a reflection on their exchange experience to Peking University.

Exchange students are not permitted to engage in part-time work during the exchange period.

Students who are not citizens of the Republic of China (Taiwan) are not eligible to apply.
Living Cost and Health Insurance
Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan exchange students must purchase valid health insurance before coming to Peking University for exchange and submit proof of health insurance to the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan office upon check-in.
Accommodation Information
Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan exchange students will be accommodated in on-campus student dormitories (each for four people)
Accommodation fee: Estimated 750 yuan per semester
