Application requirement
General Category
  1. First-year Undergraduate student/Second-year Undergraduate student/First-year master’s student/Second-year master’s student (excluding doctoral students). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
  2. GPA should be higher than 3.20.
  3. TOEFL iBT 80 (Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.0 or The General English Proficiency Test (High-Intermediate).
  4. Not available to students in the College of Medicine, College of Public Health.
Quota
4 students for 1 semester.

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

  4. For Master applications, the application process is similar. However, UM only offer limited courses for students from master level and above. Only the Faculty of Business & Accountancy and Faculty of Economics & Administration are offering courses to exchange students.
  5. Minimum academic workload: 6 credit per semester
  6. The offer of admission to the UM mobility program DOES NOT come with the Student Visa which is strictly required by the Malaysian Immigration Department (MID) for students to enter and study in Malaysia.
Living Cost and Health Insurance
  1. Insurance: It is compulsory for student to purchase the local insurance coverage policy from the EMG's appointed panel for the endorsement of students pass.
