  2. GPA should be higher than 3.30.
  3. TOEFL iBT 82 (Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.5.

  6. Not available to students in the College of Medicine.

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.
    If any information provided in this table conflicts with the latest announcements from the exchange university, country, or region, applicants should follow the most recent official announcements from the respective university, country, or region.
    Exchange students who are selected and recommended by NTU are not allowed, after receiving admission approval from the host university, to request changes to the granted admission conditions, nor may they, if their exchange application is rejected by the host university, request to reapply under different conditions. Any such actions will result in immediate cancellation of their admission eligibility.。

  6. Professional areas such as medicine, Korean medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing science, law, physical education, dance and music, etc. are restricted to exchange students.
  7. Master/PhD students can participate in the program, just like other undergraduate students in terms of application procedure, however, they are only allowed to take undergraduate courses.
  8. Minimum academic workload per semester: 3~6 courses (9~18 credits) per semester
  9. Please note that we recommend nominate students who have remaining semester(s) to complete after the completion of their exchange. We discourage the participation of those who are in their last semester.
Living Cost and Health Insurance
  • On average, exchange students spend approximately 800,000~1,500,000 KRW/month. This depends on their accommodation, lifestyle, and many other factors. In a rough estimate, 12,000 KRW/meal, 5,000KRW/coffee, 1,600KRW/ride public transit, etc.
  • Students must obtain overseas insurance BEFORE entering Korea. After the arrival in Korea, students will be OBLIGED to obtain the National Health Insurance (Monthly fee: approx. KRW72,000)
