- At least First-year Undergraduate student/At least First-year master’s student (excluding doctoral students). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
- TOEFL iBT 90 (Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.5.
- Not available to students in the Graduate Institute of Journalism , College of Social Sciences, College of Medicine, College of Public Health.

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.

- The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

- There is a limited availability of courses:
- at the Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM). Students applying through a university-wide agreement can at most be accepted to 15 credits at LUSEM per semester.
- at the Bachelor's level at the Faculty of Law.
- in Physical Geography
- in Molecular Biology
- Courses are not available in the following fields of study:
- Bioinformatics
- Journalism
- The School of Industrial Design is not available for students applying through a university-wide agreement.
- The Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, (including the Malmö Academies of Music, Art and Theatre) mainly admits students within specific faculty/department agreements.
- The Faculty of Medicine mainly admits students within specific faculty/department agreements.
- Courses for exchange students
- Special Area Studies (SAS) in English: Scandinavian studies, European studies and Global issues are specially designed for exchange students.
- Swedish Language Courses for exchange students(SUSA): Swedish Language Courses can be counted within or in addition to a full-time study load.
- Note, not all courses in English are open to exchange students.

Accommodation Information
We recommend that all exchange students at Lund University apply through the following main accommodation agencies:
- LU Accommodation: Part of Student Services at Lund University, offering housing tips and support.
- AF Bostäder: The largest provider of student accommodation in Lund.
- BoPoolen: The housing service run by the Student Unions.
It is recommended to apply for accommodation through several different agencies.
Arrival and Orientation Weeks
The Orientation Weeks for international students include a variety of activities that aim to help students settle in smoothly at the University and in student life. Taking part in the Orientation Weeks is not mandatory, but something that is strongly recommended to get a good introduction to student life at Lund University. Swedish Residence Permit
The Swedish residence permit is closely related to the credits earned during the exchange period. Please strictly adhere to the course selection rules and do not arbitrarily drop out to avoid affecting the validity of your residence permit.
