German Category
- At least First-year Undergraduate student/At least First-year master’s student (excluding doctoral students). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
- TOEFL iBT 94 (Accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.5 or The General English Proficiency Test (High-Intermediate) or The BEST Test of English Proficiency B2 (Vantage). or
- German at least B2(High-Intermediate) level.
- Application is limited to students in the College of Social Sciences, College of Management, College of Bio-Resources & Agriculture, College of Law.
- Specific requirement for Law :
- German at least B2(High-Intermediate) level.

Academic Calendar
Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.

Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

- CEMS MiM courses, Business Journalism and Business teacher education courses are NOT open to exchange students
- Guest students are required to take at least 16 ECTS credits and may not exceed 40 ECTS credits per semester.

- Incoming exchange students are invited to enrol in a cost-free, seven-day intensive German language course before the semester starts and may continue with the course during the semester. Other language courses offered during the semester may include: Chinese, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian.
