Registration for Exchange
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Registration for Visiting
- Students admitted to the Visiting Student Program are responsible for all program-related expenses required by the host institution, including visiting student fees, accommodation, living expenses, insurance, round-trip airfare, and any other related costs.
- Admitted students must complete registration at this university and, upon enrollment confirmation, pay a program fee of NTD 2,500, as well as one-quarter (1/4) of NTU's tuition and miscellaneous fees.

- Study abroad and exchange students are not permitted to study the following: Optometry, Medicine, Nursing (except for VIA Denmark Nursing Students) and Midwifery, Units with placements, Most units with a work-integrated-learning component, Law units without prior studies at a law school.
- Maximum academic workload is 3 credit points per trimester.
