Programme description:

• The candidates will be requested to prepare and submit a research plan to be realized at the University of Warsaw (UW), approved by the research supervisor at UW.
• Duration of the research visits: from 2 to 5 months.
• The visit may be extended for another period, but not longer than until 30 August 2025.
• The date of arrival must be approved by the authorities of the host organizational unit and can be subject to change.
• Call for applications: 21 March 2024 – 31 May 2025 or until funds are depleted.
• Deadline for visits: by 30 August 2025.

Participants will be included in research projects at the University of Warsaw, which will allow for the development and enhancement of cooperation between the University of Warsaw and institutions abroad.

Conditions:

• Submission of the required documents within the deadline.
• Positive assessment of the research plan by the research supervisor at UW.
• Approval of the application by the authorities of the host organizational unit.

Funding:

• Funding towards the costs of living: students for 50 PLN per day (up to 1,500 PLN per month); doctoral candidates in the amount of 70 PLN per day (up to 2,100 PLN per month) for the entire period of stay in Warsaw.
• Subsidy for travel costs in the amount consistent with the EU distance calculator in PLN.
