Please take the following precautions to stay safe during a typhoon:

  1. Stay Informed: Regularly check weather updates from reliable sources such as the Central Weather Bureau (https://www.cwa.gov.tw/V8/E/P/Typhoon/TY_NEWS.html) and follow any advisories or warnings issued.
  2. Emergency Supplies: Before the typhoon arrives,ensure you have an adequate supply of essential items, including water, non-perishable food, a flashlight, batteries, a first aid kit, and any necessary medications.
  3. Secure Your Living Area: Make sure to secure windows and doors. Bring any outdoor items indoors to prevent them from becoming hazards.
  4. Charge Your Devices: Keep your mobile phone and other essential electronic devices fully charged in case of power outages.
  5. Stay Indoors and Avoid Coastal Areas and Mountains: Avoid going outside during the typhoon. Stay in a safe location until authorities declare it safe to leave. Please do not go to coastal areas and mountains.
  6. Follow Instructions: Adhere to any instructions or guidelines provided by local authorities or officials.
