Anti-Fraud Reminder

Publish Date:2025-07-10 00:00:00

Dear Students,

Recently, there has been an increase in fraudulent activities. Please stay alert and follow these safety tips to protect yourself:

  1. Do not trust unknown calls or messages, especially those claiming to be from government agencies, schools, banks, or delivery services.

  2. Never share your personal information, such as passport numbers, credit card details, bank accounts, or verification codes.

  3. Do not follow instructions to use ATMs or make transfers. Legitimate authorities will never ask you to do so for fee payments or error corrections.

  4. Be cautious with online shopping or dating, and avoid money transactions on unverified platforms.

If you suspect a scam, call the 165 Anti-Fraud Hotline (within Taiwan), or consult the relevant authorities.

Stay safe and vigilant!

Sincerely,

Office of International Affairs, National Taiwan University
