Welcome Activities (for 2021 Fall semester)

OIA prepared a series of welcome activities to welcome you to National Taiwan University. Please access the 2021/2022 Orientation Activities to get the most updated information.  

 

Registration (for 2021 Fall Semester)

For students who are joining the on-campus visiting program, you must complete registration during the designated period. Please follow the information provided by OIA to complete the registration on-time. Students who do not upload the required documents above will be considered as incomplete of their NTU registration; if you did not complete the above three procedures during the registration period, please email your NTU coordinator to schedule a make-up registration.

Step 1.  Provide your emergency contact in Taiwan

You are required to provide at least one emergency contact information that is in Taiwan on my.ntu.edu.tw/stuinfo. All blanks on the page are mandatory items. 

    • Emergency Contact in Taiwan: Please fill in at least one person who is currently in Taiwan and will be staying here during your exchange/visiting period. If you have relatives in Taiwan, you can choose one of them as your emergency contact; if not, you may ask your student volunteer or your fellow students to be your emergency contact in Taiwan. Please note that the contact number of your emergency contact in Taiwan must be local cellphone number.
    • Contact number in Taiwan: All exchange/visiting students must get a contact number in Taiwan, which enable the university contact when any accident occurs. There are many telecommunication stores in the Taoyuan International Airport that sell phone card or SIM card, you can simply choose the one which meet your requirements. You can also buy the cards at the telecommunication stores near the campus or you may ask your student volunteer for more help.

Step 2.  Complete both your tuition fee and programfee payment and get the receipts

    • For Tuition Fee program, please follow the instruction of How to Print Your Billing Statement to download and finish the payment before the registration.
    • For Program Fee payment, please download your payment sheet from NTU Visiting Student Program System >> Payment >> Program Fee.

Step 3.  Upload six required items to the registration system

    1. Screenprint of the complete page from step 1
    2. The payment receipt for NTU Tuition Fee
    3. The payment receipt for the Program Fee
    4. Photocopy of NTU Health Exam Form & Form C pasted with passport size photo
    5. Photocopy of Medical & Accident Insurance Proof, or Valid National Health Insurance (NHI) card
    6. International Student Declaration Form

 

 

For students who are joining the virtual/online visiting program, you must complete registration during the designated period. Please follow the information from OIA and complete the registration on-time. Students who do not upload the required documents above will be considered as incomplete of their NTU registration; if you did not complete the above three procedures during the registration period, please email your NTU coordinator.

    • Your Tuition Fee will be re-calculate in late October, 2021. OIA will send you further information about the payment method via email by the end of October, 2021.

Step 3.  Upload two required items to the registration system

Extend or Shorten Your Exchange Period

The maximum exchange period at NTU is one academic year. If you have already been admitted for one academic year, no further extension will be approved.

To extend or shorten your exchange period, you must apply at least one month before the end of the semester. Your extension application will go through department review, and we will inform you the result by the end of th semester.
