NTU student Meet and Greet

We are here to invite you to take advantage of a unique opportunity to get in touch with international students who have been at NTU and in Taiwan for a while to share their experiences with you. 
The event will be held in ENGLISH.

Time: 
Session 1 - 10:30am - 12:30 noon (Taipei Time): - For students from English Speaking Country (Australia, Canada, United States), Asia (Hong Kong, Japan, Mainland China, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea), and Latin America (Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Chile) etc. 
Session 2 - 15:00pm - 17:00pm (Taipei Time):   - For students from Europe (Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine)
English Speaking Country (United Kingdom) and Asia (India, Indonesia, Israel, Nepal, Phillipines, Thailand, Vietnam) and Africa (Ethiopia, Nigeria and Tanzania) etc.
You will hear representative students from International Student Associations and other international students answering questions that cover the following topics:
- The Beginning of a New Journey in Taiwan and NTU
- Learning at NTU
- Activities to Do
- Living in Taiwan

Online Course Selection Guide

In this event , you will be provided with useful information about the courses and course selection system that will make your NTU study a pleasent journey!

Campus Tour

Tour guides are current NTU international and local students. They will share with you the most important tips about the life on the NTU campus. Additionally, the NTU colleges will offer more information through sessions.

Orientation

All the incoming international students are required to participate in the Orientation Forum. During the sessions, we will guide you through the registration process, and other practical information for studying at NTU.

College Welcome Reception

Through the on-site introduction of each college's facilities, learning resources, senior students, popular courses, and administrative team, we will guide you to know the special characteristics and essential information of the college you belong to.

Registration 

All new international students are required to complete the registration. All students will receive the student ID card after completing the registration procedures. 


For International Degree and Dual Degree Students:

First-year Student Orientation Camp (OC17)

The First-year Student Orientation Camp, established in the 2008 academic year, is organized for new students, featuring a series of thematic courses designed to help participants familiarize themselves with the campus environment.
For the 2024 academic year, the program will include activities such as thematic challenge courses, music festivals, student club experience bazzar, and seminars led by alumnus. For more information, please visit the official event website


Real Escape:

Club Bazaar:

At the Putong Lcture Building and the Boya Lecture Building, 40 to 50 student clubs are invited to set up booths. Inside the classrooms, club experiences are offered, and points can be collected to redeem limited-edition gifts. For more information, please refer to the website below:

General Chinese Courses - Registration & Placement Test

All the incoming international students who are interested in taking the General Chinese Courses are required to complete the course registration in time. You will be assigned to a 1~1.5hr minutes placement test, in order to help us arrange a suitable level of class for you. Your absence during the oral placement test will be considered as cancellation of enrollment, so it is important that you attend the meeting on time..
