Areas of Study Avalible: Exchange students can take courses in any department within the College of Arts and Sciences, which includes more than 40 academic departments and interdisciplinary curricula. Enrollment will be subject to availability and will be dependent upon students having met any course prerequisites. Please refer to the UNC catalog for course descriptions.

Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Gillings School of Global Public Health, Kenan-Flagler Business School, Law School, School of Dentistry, School of Education, School of Government, School of Information & Library Science, Hussman School of Journalism and Mass Communication, School of Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Social Work are not open to exchange students. 
7. Please note there is a 2 course limit, per semester, for Economics and Psychology courses.
8. Academic workload for exchange students:
   • Undergraduate: 12 credit hours (4 courses) minimum per semester 
   • Graduate: 9 credit hours (3 courses) minimum per semester
9. All exchnage students will be charged a $100 administration fee at the beginning of the program.
