  1. At least First-year Undergraduate student/At least First-year master’s student (excluding doctoral students). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection., 前述「以上」包含該年級.
  2. There should be no failed courses listed in your transcripts.
  3. GPA should be higher than 3.00.
  4. Spanish at least B2(High-Intermediate) level.
  5. Not available to students in the College of Medicine.

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

  3. Pre-requirements: Students are responsible for choosing the courses according to the necessary requirements. If the student does not meet the criteria needed, he/she should not ask to be enrolled in the class.
  4. School of Medicine is not open to exchange students.
  5. Most of our classes are taught in Spanish. Therefore, a B2 Spanish level is required. 
  6. Recommended workload:
    • Undergraduate: Students should register a minimum of 9 credits and a maximum of 20 credits. Students should follow the minimum requirements of their home University. 
    • Master's: Students should register minimum 8 credits and maximum 18 credits. Students should follow the requirements of their home University. 1 credit equals 48 hours of course work (in and out of class).
    • It is important to remember that the ratio of class room work vs individual work is 1 to 3 for master students and 1 to 2 for undergraduate students.

  8. Students must have an international travel and health insurance with a wide health and dental coverage. This is mandatory for all exchange students.

Universidad de los Andes does not offer on-campus housing services. However, the Uniandes housing team provides housing services in our allied residences, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. These furnished apartments include internet service, cable TV, a kitchen, and common areas.
