Application requirement
General Category
  1. First-year Undergraduate student/Second-year Undergraduate student/Third-year Undergraduate student/First-year master’s student (excluding doctoral students). According to the year of study recorded in the Office of Academic Affairs system at the time of internal selection..
  2. GPA should be higher than 3.70.
  3. TOEFL iBT 79 (Do not accept Home Edition) or IELTS 6.0 or The General English Proficiency Test (High-Intermediate), Special interview session will be conducted for incoming students.
  4. Not available to students in the College of Liberal Arts, Department of Business Administration, College of Management, Department of Accounting, College of Management, Department of Finance, College of Management, Department of International Business, College of Management, Department of Information Management, College of Management, Graduate Institute of Accounting, College of Management.

Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.

  3. NOT Open to exchange students: Language Academy - TESL program、AHIBS - Business program (only for postgraduate)

  7. Only taught course program can take up subjects. Phd student is not allowed to enroll in subjects.
  8. Minimum 12 credit hours need to be taken by students to be considered as full-time students.
  9. Every exchange student will be assigned with an academic advisor who will provide academic guidance and supervision.
  10. Visa: International students have  to apply online for their Visa Approval Letter (VAL) through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) . It advisable student to apply VAL  minimum 6 weeks before your registration date.
  11. Insurance: The student is COMPULSORY to purchase health insurance which covers personal accident, inpatient treatment, repatriation, death and any other additional terms which necessarily while in Malaysia. Insurance is to be purchased during the visa application with EMGS
  12. Estimated life cost:MYR500-1000 p/month。
  13. Dress Codes: Students are expected to be clean, well groomed and dressed in a manner appropriate to the Malaysian custom or norms. Students must maintain a professional appearance by wearing collared shirts/t-shirts, shoes, slacks or long skirts while attending classes and/or on official visits to Faculties/Administration building.
