Freie Universität Berlin European Studies Program (FU-BEST) is currently accepting applications for the GermanPLUS+ course package for the Fall 2019 semester. The application deadline is April 1, 2019!

GermanPLUS+ features specialized language and subject courses in German, designed to meet the needs and interests of advanced German Studies / German language students or students of European Studies / history / political science with advanced German language abilities.

The GermanPLUS+ course package is fully integrated into the FU-BEST structure, cultural activities, and any program services offered to all other FU-BEST students, as well. The regular FU-BEST semester fees apply.

Participants need to have German language skills on the C1 or C2 level, either through formal education or through being a (near-)native speaker. All course assignments and most of the readings will be in German.

FU-BEST is a semester program designed primarily for students at the second-semester sophomore level or beyond at 4-year universities and colleges. Its calendar matches that of most American institutions, consisting of American-style Fall (September-December) and Spring (February-May) semesters.
