Emerging Technology in Civil & Building Engineering: BIM-enabled Digital & Green Transformation

About

This program is designed for students of all levels who want to learn general Building Information Modeling (BIM) knowledge and its practical application in digital and green transformation. In the course, top BIM researchers and experts in NTU will share their knowledge and experiences with students on BIM value, standards, data query, 4D BIM and green BIM. The course also includes hands-on workshops, group discussion and project-based learning. Industrial on-site visits are arranged for exploring industrial BIM applications. On top of that, students will also experience local life through well-organized culture tours.

Project-based learning

By engaging in a team project, students will learn BIM knowledge and skills in a collaborative working environment with guidance of an experienced teaching team. The students will have face-to-face discussions with BIM experts and present their learning outcomes in Midterm and Final presentations.

Industrial on-site visits

Industrial on-site visits will be arranged to increase students’ understanding to BIM applications through discussion with BIM practitioners.
