National Taiwan University jointly works with Bureau Français de Taipei (BFT) to initiate NTU-BFT Scholar Mobility Grant for NTU scholars to further strengthen the connection and research mobility between NTU and France. 2022 application is now available until June 20th before 17:00 CST.
Eligibility
NTU current PhD student, Postdoc Researchers, Assistant Professor, Associate Professors and Professors who do not hold a French nationality.
Application Period and Time Line
Please submit the electronic files of the application form and attachments to fionalo0201@ntu.edu.tw before 17:00 pm on June 20th, 2022.
Topic
The program is open to scholars of all diciplines and do not have specified academic fields or research topics.
Visit Period
30 days or 60 days (one or two months) term of visit for maximum five scholars.
Scholar (s) shall accomplish their stay in French lab before December 31 2022.
Stipend Details
² A living stipend sponsored by BFT:
EUR 1704/month:PhD students, and Postdoc Researchers and Assistant/Associate Professors who have obtained their doctorate at most 5 years ago
EUR 2055/month:Professors and Postdoc and Assistant/Associate Professors who have obtained their doctorate for more than 5 years.
² One round-trip economy class flight ticket between Taiwan and France and a PCR test subsidy provided by NTUOIA after coming back to Taiwan.
Important Notice
Scholars will be responsible to find a host in France and arrange their own accommodation during the visit period.

Q: Who can apply for this program?
A: Any NTU PhD student, Postdoc Researchers, Assistant Professor, Associate Professors and Professors who do not hold a French nationality could apply for the program.
Q: If I have other finding resources or project, could I apply the program?
A: Yes! We understand the possible cost for international travel and making connection.
Q: I would like to stay in France for more than 2 months, could I apply for the program?
A: Yes! But the maximun living stipend for each scholar would be two months.
Q: It is a great program, would it be renewed in 2023?
A: The quota for next year BFT-NTU Scholar Mobility Grant would be discussed by NTUOIA and BFT in the beginning of 2023. The renewal is not promised but we will announced it once it is confirmed.
