(Admitted students are limited to depart in the 1st semester of NTU, for their exchange of one semester or one academic year.)
Online Information Session
These sessions will give an overview of the inbound Exchange Programme, as well as related matters such as living in the UK, housing, etc, and will hopefully enable any of your students who are interested in applying to spend a semester/year with us in 2026/27 to find out more about our programme.

The 40-minute sessions will be held as follows:
 
  • Monday 24 November 2025 – 4:00 pm UK time
  • Tuesday 25 November 2025 – 9:00 am UK time

Academic Calendar
Registration
Students must register as a full-time student at NTU and are liable for tuition fees at NTU while overseas. Students do not have to pay tuition fees to the host university, but remain liable for miscellaneous, accommodation, living, insurance, transportation and other personal fees.
Academic Information
  1. The language requirements listed are the minimum standards. Applicants are advised to look into specific departments and courses to ensure they meet all prerequisites and additional language criteria. The host institution reserves the right to deny admission if no suitable departments or courses are available.
  2. Exchange opportunities for NTU students are restricted to the Faculty of Humanities. Please note that Tier 4 visa regulations and English proficiency requirements vary by department; please ensure that you consult the Entry Requirement.

Living expenses and insurance information
  1. All students MUST ensure they have adequate personal insurance cover prior to traveling to the UK. The University of Manchester does not require that incoming exchange students purchase a specific insurance policy, nor do we have an institutional policy available for purchase. Students should source their own insurance according to their needs/personal circumstances.

Accommodation Information
Not guaranteed, but students can apply for housing. Application for housing is a separate, additional online process, which students must complete AFTER receiving their offer letter from us. Students should NOT reject any room offer they are made – they will not receive another offer.
