須在本校註冊並繳交全額學雜費，免繳該校學費，但該校雜費、住宿費、生活費、保險費、往返機票費等均須自行負擔。

Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Pharmacy are not open to exchange students. Faculty of Business & Accountancy is considerably competitive. Students applying for courses at this faculty must possess good academic performance.

For Master applications, the application process is similar. However, UM only offer limited courses for students from master level and above. Only the Faculty of Business & Accountancy and Faculty of Economics & Administration are offering courses to exchange students.

The offer of admission to the UM mobility program DOES NOT come with the Student Visa which is strictly required by the Malaysian Immigration Department (MID) for students to enter and study in Malaysia.

Option B: UM 11th Residential College (KK11)
- For male students only
- MYR 26 per day
- Twin sharing room
- Air-conditioned
- Shared facilities such as bathrooms and pantry.
Option C: UM 12th Residential College (KK12)
- MYR 15 per day
- Twin sharing room
- No air-conditioning
- Shared facilities such as bathrooms and pantry.
Option D: UM International House (IH UM)
- MYR 450 per month, excluding utilities
- Twin sharing room, 4 people in one house unit
- Air-conditioned
- Basic cooking facilities
- Shared facilities within the apartment, such as living room, fridge, kitchen.
