- Minimum academic workload per semester: Depending on home institution's requirements. A normal ECTS load is 30/semester.
實用資訊
- German beginner class offered every semester. Additonal courses can be organized according to demand. A 3-week intensive German refresher course (B2/C1) is offered, which takes place before the start of the fall semester. Cost: CHF 700.
- Appropriate expenses per month in CHF: Accommodation: 400 – 700, food: 400, public transport: 70, books: 60, health insurance (can be waived): 80; entertainment: 150
Total per month: 1300 – 1600 - Students must have health insurance which is valid in Switzerland.
Non-EU Students: Proof of health insurance valid in Switzerland. Health insurance provider in home country signs an exemption form together with a copy of the insurance policy in English, both documents will be evaluated by the local authorities in Switzerland. If the documents are not accepted by the local authorities, students are obliged to sign up for a Swiss health insurance (approx. CHF 90.00/month – e.g. Foreign student health insurance Switzerland | Swisscare).
住宿資訊
Campus Rapperswil: Student housing: 10min by bus to the Campus, several shared apartments with 3 or 6 rooms each only for exchange students, the cost is currently CHF 610 per month.
Campus Buchs: No on-campus accommodation. Rooms in shared flats and private accommodation in or near Buchs, approx. CHF 400 - CHF 700 monthly.
Campus St.Gallen: No on-campus accommodation. Rooms in shared flats and studios with other exchange students, CHF 550 - CHF 700 monthly. Application deadlines: 15 May/15 October.
