Chinese for International Students - About

For 2020 Fall semester, NTU will offer online General and Enhancing Chinese Courses for NTU international students who are unable to enter Taiwan. For international students in Taiwan, courses will be offered in-person.

IMPORTANT: REGISTRATION for General & Enhancing Chinese Course

New incoming international students who requested to apply for General and Enhancing Chinese Course will receive a follow up email for registration. Students must follow the email instruction and submit the completed registration form online before September 4, 2020.

After registration, individual student will receive another email instruction to take Online Placement Test on September 13. You will be assigned with specific time slot between 9:00am to 5:00pm (Taipei, Taiwan time) to take this test.

Many students decide to study Chinese language at NTU because of our reputation for effective learning and our considerable expertise in offering well-tailored, interactive, empowering classes to diverse students for many years.

NTU now offers enrolled international students Chinese courses with credits. (degree students, exchange students, visiting students...etc.)

To different types of international students, NTU offers Chinese courses that meet their needs. These include the General Chinese Course and the Applied Chinese Course (NTU students only). Non-NTU students please refer to Non-NTU Student.
