Scholarships for Current Students

The Scholarships shown as below are only for the current international degree students who were applying for admission in accordance with the Ministry of Education's Regulations for International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan.

 Financial Assistance Grant for International Students PDF

Available Degree: Bachelor, Master, Ph.D

Coverage and Amount: Tuition waiver + Monthly stipend TWD 6,000/month for 12 months

Duration: 1 year

Description: By combining former scholarship schemes together, NTU has established this Grant since 2015 to facilitate integration with the international community by encouraging academic excellence.

Eligibility: Students must comply with the Ministry of Education’s Regulations for International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan. At the time of application, current students must have achieved a GPA of 3.2 or above in 2016/2017 academic year or have achieved the aforementioned average of 2nd semester of 2016/2017 academic year and 1st semester of 2017/2018 academic year; students enrolled for less than one academic year shall have achieved the aforementioned average in the previous semester. Graduate students who have not taken credit courses due to writing thesis or other reasons can provide an Advisor Evaluation Form instead.

Application Evaluation: Colleges shall conduct evaluations based on materials submitted by the applicants to determine the order of priority for receiving the grant.

Application Result: The result will be available online in the system from 4pm on April 19th, 2019.

Taipei City ICT Southern Diamond Talent Convergence Plan PDF

Applicable Degree: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Philippine, Indian or Malaysian students applying for ICT related master or PhD programs

Awarding Duration: 2 years

Coverage and Amount: Tuition fee up to TWD80,000 per year, accommodations allowance TWD3,000

For the Recipient: OIA will contact the qualified admitted students automatically to ask about the willingness to apply for the scholarship. An undertaking form should be signed by the applicant.
