Before Arrival

After receiving your admission letter, please refer to the following procedure for you to smoothly get into NTU:

Step 1: Degree Verification (Only for Degree Student)

You are required to submit your verified diploma and transcript during NTU Registration Days.
Usually, the verification (authentication) procedures consume a lot of time (more than 2 months), please start the process as soon as possible.
Please note that you will not be able to complete the registration procedure (in February) without presenting all the required documents.

Foreign Degree Verification

You are required to have all foreign diplomas and transcripts verified by the Taiwan Embassy/Mission in the country of the institution before submission. If your transcripts and diplomas (or graduation certificates) are not in Chinese or English, please first translate them into English or Chinese and verify the translated documents as well as the original documents. Please have all necessary documents verified before arrival in Taiwan.

Mainland Chinese Degree Verification

The verification procedure for Mainland Chinese diplomas is different than the general degree verification.
For Bachelor, Master and PhD Mainland Chinese Degree verification, please see the Verification Procedure for Mainland Chinese Academic Qualifications.

For High School graduation certificate and transcript verification, please see the Verification Procedure for Mainland Chinese High School Academic Qualifications.
